 Wyoming State Geological Survey Table

"The Wyoming State Geological Survey will have specimens on display, along with free informational pamphlets describing the geology of Wyoming's state parks. They will also have a selection of WSGS publications available for purchase, including geologic maps. WSGS staff will be operating a handheld XRF device at their booth. This device measures the elemental composition of rocks and minerals. Attendees are welcome to bring their specimens to have them analyzed."

Bighorn Basin Dinosaur and Geoscience Museum Table

Dr. Erik Kvale will be on hand to talk Bighorn Basin geology and dinosaurs along with displays and information on the planned new Museum in Greybull, Wyoming.

Curtis Talbot’s Display of Fossils and Minerals

Geologist Curt Talbot will have his extensive collection of Bighorn Basin and Wyoming fossils on display. Because of the show’s theme he will also bring some of his mineral collection. Adults and kids alike will enjoy his specimens.

Rock Identification Table — Doc Ellis

Geologist “Doc” Ellis has written several guides to rock collection in the Bighorn basin, as well as other books. He is very familiar with rocks and minerals in the Bighorn Basin and elsewhere. He will be on hand to identify your rocks and minerals. Bring them in for identification.

Wyoming Mineral and Geology Photography — Elyse Lynn

Elyse, a local photographer and rockhound, loves to take photographs of geology and minerals. She will have a table side slideshow of her geology photographs as well as notecards and calendars displaying her photographs for sale.
