Bighorn Basin Dinosaur and Geoscience Museum Table–Wild West Dino Den
Dr. Erik Kvale will be on hand to talk about Bighorn Basin geology and dinosaurs. The exhibit will also include displays and information on the planned new museum in Greybull, Wyoming. This is a great opportunity to learn more about one of the Basin’s premier geosciences instititution and its future plans. Rock Identification Table
Geologist “Doc” Ellis will be available to help identify your rocks and minerals. Doc has written several guides to rock collecting in the Bighorn Basin and beyond and has an excellent working knowledge of regional geology. Bring in your mystery specimens and see what you’ve found.

Draper Museum of Natural History & Fossil Identification
Draper Museum of Natural History
Larry Olivieri, Research Assistant at the Draper Museum, will be available to talk about fossils and paleontology in the Bighorn Basin. Larry is a teacher, fossil preparer, and lifelong collector. He also hosts the Draper Museum’s video series “Layers with Larry.” Stop by and visit with one of the Basin’s most enthusiastic interpreters of natural history. Bring your fossils and Larry will identify them for you.

Washakie Museum & Cultural Center
Angela Reddick, Museum Educator and geologist, will be sharing insights into the prehistoric natural history of the Bighorn Basin. With more than a decade of experience working in Wyoming museums, Angela brings both scientific depth and an educator’s perspective to her presentations.

Park County Library – Fossil Coloring & Kids Activities
Park County Library
The Park County Library will host a hands-on activity area for kids, featuring fossil coloring and interactive learning about rocks, fossils, and geology. A great stop for families and young rockhounds.
UV Light and Mineral Display
Step into the UV room for a look at fluorescent minerals under three different wavelengths of ultraviolet light. Small groups will be admitted throughout the day.
Protective UV-certified eyewear will be provided. For safety, the door will remain locked during each viewing session. Wait times should be minimal.

Wyoming Mineral and Geology Photography-Elyse Lynn
Local photographer and rockhound Elyse Lynn will be displaying her geology and mineral photography. She will also have notecards and calendars available featuring her work-an excellent way to take a piece of the Basin home with you.
